This course offers amazing cliff-top views and the world-famous carry-over – can you get the ball neatly from one cliff to the other!? Rolling fairways, wild flowers and picturesque lakes make for a top-notch experience.
This lovely course leads down to the shores and some holes are right on the sand-dunes, offering stunning views while you improve your handicap. The front nine holes are set within hilly land surrounded by pine trees, while the second part of the course is beach views all the way. Stunning
The Vale do Lobo Golf Club hosts a series of events throughout the year. In the Summer months, there is the Open Fours and the range of children’s activities, as well as a Junior Academy and series of Open Days. The winter months are still busy, with a Celebrity Golf Challenge, Amateur Week and Knockout Week just some of the activities on offer.
Vale do Lobo Tennis Academy
One of the largest tennis facilities in Portugal, the Academy attracts a number of international fixtures. It includes 10 hard courts, four synthetic grass courts and mini tennis and a paddle tennis court – so there is something to suit all ages and abilities.
With a year round programme of coaching and tournaments, this is a fantastic facility around which to base your villa holiday.
If the beach is more for you, Vale do Lobo beach has miles of golden sand and distinctive red sandstone cliffs just a few minutes’ walk from our carefully selected villas. While away the day with the sun on your back, followed by a refreshing dip in the cooling Atlantic Ocean. Or if you’re feeling more active, head to Julia’s Beach for a day of jet skiing, banana boats and canoes. Also known as Julia’s Beach, after a local lady who opened the first café here, Praia de Garrao is one of the principal beaches in the area – and rightly so. Choose from horse-riding, watersports, swimming or dining in one of the finest beachside restaurants in Portugal. Private and public sections offer something for everyone.

A pedestrian zone runs the entire length of this lovely sandy beach, ideal for pushchairs, bikes, roller-skates and wheelchairs and making it hugely popular with families. With a great selection of cafés and local restaurants, there is something for everyone.
This is a bustling beachside complex lying at the heart of the resort’s community, With palm fringed sands and a range of vibrant bars and restaurants, it is a must visit, providing something for holidaymakers of all ages.
During the evenings, Vale do Lobo has a wonderful atmosphere and a stunning seafront location meaning you can relish the seafront view from many of our luxury Vale Do Lobo based villas. Restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment combine for all the family to enjoy. A short stroll from your villa, you can find Praça, the resort’s pretty cobbled square where you can toast the end to another perfect day in Vale do Lobo – plus, there is fantastic evening entertainment to enjoy.
For a change of scenery, the exclusive resort of Quinta do Lago is just five minutes away or there’s the cosmopolitan marina in Vilamoura, full of lovely bars and restaurants with stunning views of the luxury boats and yachts.

It is only right that a restaurant combines the food and views of the sea – and nobody does it better than Sandbanks, a fantastic fish and seafood restaurant overlooking Vale do Lobo beach. Open from breakfast through to dinner, you will never be disappointed with this stunning setting and lovely menu.
This well established restaurant serves Portuguese and international cuisine, and enjoys an excellent reputation. Situated half way between the resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, it is well worth a visit.
Located in the heart of the bustling Praca beachside complex, Monty’s provides great food, fantastic drinks and simply brilliant live entertainment until the early hours. The menu’s most popular dishes tend to be the fresh fish ones but look out for that homemade dessert trolley!
