A unique 19th century farmhouse enjoying stunning views down to the ocean, that has been loving restored and retains many original features. Carob Cottage is a charming one bedroom cottage  that has been tastefully decorated in traditional Algarvian style, but with modern facilities and fully equipped with linen, towels, bathrobes for adults, cutlery and crockery.  The spacious living room offers television, VCR, DVD, radio/CD and MP3 players there is an open plan kitchen area with microwave, oven and fridge.  The double bedroom has sliding doors to the private terrace and the cottage also enjoys a shower room.  The accommodation also supplies a hair dryer, alarm clock, iron and ironing board.  To keep the everyone entertained there is a small selection of videos and DVDs available but we would ask clients to bring their own favourite CDs.  There is also a selection of puzzles, chess set, dominos, cards and a library of books to read.

The cottage is cool and airy in summer and during the cooler months, there is winter heating and winter-weight duvets. 

Outside there is a private south facing terrace a barbecue area, dining table and chairs.  Beyond is the swimming pool (heated in winter) surrounded by sun terrace, hot tub and extensive landscaped gardens with children’s play area.

Extra facilities available (some against a small charge) include laundry service, babysitting, dressing gowns (for adults) and pool towels (but please bring your own beach towels).  A cot, high chair, baby bath and potty can be supplied free of charge and other infant/baby equipment can be hired.  Please advise your requirements when booking. 

It is requested that guests do not smoke within the cottage.

Prices are based on two people sharing a room, but additional persons can be accommodated at a cost of £75 per person per week (or part of a week)
