Villa Esmerelda offers complete luxury, in the most peaceful, private and large plot in the heart of Quinta do Lago. Only a short walk to the beach and lake of Quinta do Lago, this location really does take some beating!

Entrance is through imposing iron gates leading to a driveway and the front entrance courtyard, the entrance hall is imposing and has a sweeping staircase with beautiful artwork. Through to the Living room which is tastefully furnished in shades of cream and beige and leads to a cosy cinema and entertainments room which in turn opens on to an attractive gazebo ideal for enjoying the winter sunshine. The adjacent dining room seats 8 comfortably and is next to a larger than usual kitchen built to catering standard. Every modern convenience complements the kitchen and there is a separate pantry.

The kitchen has direct access to the outdoor food preparation, barbecue, and a beautiful eating area which is partially covered to give shade when enjoying summer barbecues. The ground floor has one extremely large bedroom with twin beds, full adjacent bathroom and there is also a guest cloakroom downstairs. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, one magnificent master bedroom suite with its own twin dressing area, separate terrace with lovely views, huge bathroom with double vanity units, separate shower, bath with Jacuzzi and his and hers vanity units. The computer is located in the master dressing area but there is wi-fi throughout.

Along an attractive corridor decorated with interesting artwork is the third bedroom with en suite shower room. The fourth bedroom consists of an annexe adjacent to the front door, ideal for young people who want to come and go at will or for a nanny and children. This annexe has twin beds and a futon for extra sleeping capacity, allowing the villa to sleep 10 people comfortably. Full en-suite bathroom in Moroccan terracotta colours.

The outdoor area is exceptional, fully fenced and gated, mature garden, larger than usual pool 16 x 5m 1.2m shallow end 2m deep end with Roman steps which can be heated against a supplement. The outdoor food preparation and barbecue area is second to none and suitable for entertaining a large group of people.

The house is situated on a double plot of land some of which is landscaped and lawned and the remainder as a wild garden with wooden walkways and paths. A truly unique and magnificent property in the heart of Quinta do Lago.
