Vilamoura is home to the Equestrian Centre, one of the best Equestrian Facilities in Europe. Hosting two of the biggest show jumping events in the international calendar – the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour (February to April) and the Vilamoura Champions Tour (Sept to Oct). with capacity for approximately 750 horses, the Equestrian Centre had five sand arenas and one lunging arena.
