The Best Algarve Boat Trips:
1. DOLPHIN WATCHING
If you are staying in Albufeira, then you can take a boat trip through the caves to watch the dolphins. This is a fabulous activity for the whole family to enjoy. The key is to try this at the right time of year. As with most mammals, there is a mating season, which can determine when the dolphins appear. The best time to visit is between the end of March and the beginning of November.
This is a great activity, with a boat navigating through beautiful caves, blue waters and lots of educational fun. So, if you’re taking your little ones away this summer, then this could be the most interesting of the Algarve boat trips!
2. SAILING THE COASTLINE CRUISE
The coastline cruise departs from the Vilamoura marina and lasts for half of a day. This cruise heads West along the Algarve coastline and is filled with beautiful sights such as sandy beaches, rock formations and cliffs, as well as unexplored caves and old fishing villages. This is ideal if you want to kick back, relax and really take in the beauty of the Algarve coastline.
3. KAYAKING
Kayaking is a fantastic activity in any country, but only in the Algarve can you experience the true beauty and enjoyment. Here you will discover incredible caves with crystal clear water. Kayaking is the perfect activity if you love to get stuck in and have a truly active activity. A favourite of the Algarve boat trips for those who like an adventure on their holiday!

4. TOURING THE CAVES
For a relaxing trip on your holiday in the Algarve, why not head to Carvoeiro where you can tour the famous spectacular caves across the cosat? Widely regarded as one of the best Algarve boat trips, rides depart daily from Benagil for the sea cave tour experience.
You’ll be taken by the experienced tour guards across the cave route, where you’ll see beautiful caves, many of which are only accessible by boat or swimming (for the brave!).
